Almyros Beach
Almyros beach is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas at the north of Corfu Island, 42 km from the town and the airport.
Is a 2.5 km long, peaceful sandy beach with clear blue water, 2 klm away from Acharavi resort. Actually is the continuation of Roda and Acharavi which they consist with Almyros a 7km long, sandy beach.
In contrast of the two other resorts, Almyros offers peaceful moments for relaxing and lazy holidays, away from noise and crowds, with no space problems and car park.
Villa Filia is situated 200 meters from the beach, a spot with sandy and swallow waters, with plenty of space for swimming and sunbathing. On the left 100 m away, there is sun beds and umbrellas rental offering as well bar-cafe service.
In walking distance, you can find some small, beautiful, sandy or rocky, private seasides for an unforgettable sea experience. Behind the whole area is standing the “Pantokrator” mountain which is 914 m high and a journey on it, will remunerate any one passing via unspoilt green villages, olive trees areas offering a fantastic view to all directions, at the Mediterranean sea, Albanian coast and Greek Mainland.
At Almyros you can find a mini- market shop and few tavernas with a very good quality food, offer various Corfiot specialties in good prices. Bank, ATM, pharmacy, medical care, super markets, tourist shops, bars, restaurants, clubs etc you can find at Acharavi 2 km away by walking distance. A daylong visit can be also the “Hydropolis” water park with swimming pools, water slices, rest areas, bars-restaurant and others, 2 km in the way to Acharavi.
